Legoland Malaysia with Kids – Family Travel Blog

On our recent trip to Singapore we were spoilt for choice for things to do with the kids. We were only there for a few days so we to narrow it down and wouldn’t be able to do everything. With the kids currently aged 11, 9 & 7, we decided that Legoland Malaysia Theme Park would be a good option before they got too old, read on for our Legoland Malaysia review. (more…)

Our Airbnb apartment in Kuala Lumpur – Family Travel Blog – Travelling with kids

Kuala Lumpur was our second experience with Airbnb and as we had such a great experience with an Airbnb in Hong Kong. I was pretty confident that Airbnb Kuala Lumpur Malaysia would be just as good or better. I had booked a two bedroom apartment in Bukit Bintang as I was told it was a good central place to base yourselves in Kuala Lumpur. We stayed in Kuala Lumpur for 2 nights on the way through to Kota Kinabalu and another 2 nights on the way back from Kota Kinabalu heading home. I think I need to allow more time in Kuala Lumpur as I now feel that I haven’t had even scratched the surface of what Kuala Lumpur has to offer.

Honey, remember that time we wanted to kill the kids! – Family Travel – Travelling with kids

Over the last few weeks I have shared some pretty awesome experiences that we had with the kids from our recent holiday to Asia. We went to Hong Kong Disneyland, Ocean Park Hong Kong, Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary , Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre, Macau and plenty of other stuff in between. By now you might be thinking I’m one of those blessed mothers who’s children are always so well behaved……. I wish. Now here’s our experience from the KL Hop On Hop Off Bus.

Hotel Review – Shangri La Tanjung Aru, Kota Kinabalu, Borneo – Family Travel Blog

When considering Kota Kinabalu resorts go no further than Shangri La Tanjung Aru, totally LUSH! From when you step out of your taxi to the minute you check out, it is nothing short of perfect. My review of Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre, Sandakan – Family Travel Blog

In October 2014, we went on a family holiday that took us to Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre. I had wanted to go here for a very long time. A friend of mine visited here over 15 years ago and my sister visited last year with her husband. I have always been interested in the plight of orangutans and really wanted to provide the kids with an opportunity to see the orangutans before it’s just too late. I was pleased to see that a lot of work and money is going into ensuring that this is not going to become a reality.

In October 2014 we took the kids to Asia for a family holiday. Whilst in Kuala Lumpur we visited the Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary. The sanctuary is approximately 90 mins from Kuala Lumpur. After reading reviews of the elephant sanctuary on Trip Advisor, I contacted Zali instead of going on a tour bus. (more…)

Air Asia – our upcoming flights to S.E.Asia in October 2014

I have a big birthday coming up in October & I always wanted to spend it in America, take the kids to Disneyland & visit Las Vegas & New York. As the date was getting closer I came to the conclusion that with the kids ages at the moment & the fact that they are exceptionally small for their ages (eg. 7 year old is the size of a 4 year old!) I decided this was not going to be the best option for us. (more…)
