Cu Chi Tunnels, Vietnam with Kids – Family Travel Blog – Travelling with Kids

On our recent visit to Vietnam, I was a bit worried about the kids not being interested enough. The other Asian cities we have been to, have had big tickets items such as Hong Kong Disneyland, Ocean Park and spending a day volunteering at an elephant shelter. We had nothing like that organised for Vietnam and I wasn’t sure there would be enough to keep them interested. There are so many Cu Chi Tunnels tours to choose from and they are all very similar. Po Nagar Temple, Nha Trang – Family Travel Blog – Travelling with Kids

During our recent visit to Vietnam we had a free day and were looking for fun things to do in Nha Trang so we decided to take the kids to see some Cham Towers. We had visited some other Cham Towers last time we were there but I had seen Po Nagar Cham Towers from the road on the way in to Nha Trang after our wonderful stay at An Lam Resort at Ninh Van Bay. Po Nagar is a Hindu temple dating back to 781. (more…)

Review – Signature Saigon Hotel, HCMC, Vietnam – Travelling with Kids

Recently we returned from our holiday to Vietnam with the kids. Craig and I went to Vietnam in 2003 for our honeymoon but it was the first trip for the kids. I knew we would be out and about while staying in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) so didn’t see the need to pay for a 5* hotel like we had in Nha Trang at the An Lam Resort.  I think Signature Saigon Hotel is the best place to stay in Ho Chi Minh City and here’s way. Hotel Review – An Lam Resort, Ninh Van Bay, Vietnam

For the last two nights we had the opportunity to stay at one of the most amazing 5* resorts located on the Vietnamese coast. An Lam Resort is located close to Nha Trang on beautiful Ninh Van Bay. The first thing you will notice is that Ninh Van Bay is so much more beautiful than any Nha Trang beach! It’s by far one of the best Vietnam resorts. (more…)

Our Airbnb apartment in Kuala Lumpur – Family Travel Blog – Travelling with kids

Kuala Lumpur was our second experience with Airbnb and as we had such a great experience with an Airbnb in Hong Kong. I was pretty confident that Airbnb Kuala Lumpur Malaysia would be just as good or better. I had booked a two bedroom apartment in Bukit Bintang as I was told it was a good central place to base yourselves in Kuala Lumpur. We stayed in Kuala Lumpur for 2 nights on the way through to Kota Kinabalu and another 2 nights on the way back from Kota Kinabalu heading home. I think I need to allow more time in Kuala Lumpur as I now feel that I haven’t had even scratched the surface of what Kuala Lumpur has to offer.

Over the last few weeks I have shared some pretty awesome experiences that we had with the kids from our recent holiday to Asia. When considering Kota Kinabalu resorts go no further than Shangri La Tanjung Aru, totally LUSH! From when you step out of your taxi to the minute you check out, it is nothing short of perfect.
