Yesterday was Craig’s birthday and I always find it difficult to find him a present for his birthday that he wants or needs so I have been surprising him with a day out or better still, like last year, a three day break for the two of us in Uluru! This year wasn’t quite so extravagant but we did manage to get a day to ourselves and went on a Yarra Valley Segway tour at the Balgownie Estate. (more…)
Knott’s Berry Farm dates back to 1920’s when it was a family owned farm that sold berries, homemade berry preserves and pies on the roadside. Later in 1934, a tea room was created and they started selling fried chicken dinners. Soon after Mrs Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant was established. Universal Studios Singapore a popular Singapore theme park and is the second Universal Studios for Alannah and I as we had the opportunity to visit Universal Studios Japan last year in Osaka. For Craig and the little ones, this was their first visit and to say they were a little excited was an understatement. I’ve never seen Caelan eat so quickly at the buffet breakfast! We recently had the opportunity to travel to Jaipur, India and wanted to take the opportunity to visit the Taj Mahal with kids in Agra. Agra is a 4 and a half hour drive from Jaipur but I was determined to visit my very first 7 Modern Wonders of the World while I was there. I’ve been reflecting on my trip to Japan as it is nearly a whole 12 months since we departed! I was so unbelievably excited to be going as I had wanted to go for such a long time.
