Yogyakarta, Indonesia’s best kept secret

I have to be honest, until recently Indonesia hasn’t been on my radar. I never considered Indonesia a great place for a family holiday but after doing some research I think I might have sold it a bit short. My research has found plenty of interesting places to visit in Yogyakarta. Taking Kids to Hiroshima, Japan – Traveling with Kids – Family Travel Blog

I have to be honest, I never even considered not taking Alannah to Hiroshima on our recent visit to Japan. After 2 red eye flights in a row, we arrived in Osaka at 8:30 in the morning. After organising our rail passes for our Japan adventure we jumped on the train to Osaka Station and then had a 10 minute walk to the hotel. Choosing some where to stay in Osaka was difficult although the Ritz Carlton Osaka’s close proximity to Osaka Station was very handy.
