Visiting Angkor Wat and surrounding Temples – Travelling with Kids – Family Travel Blog

Visiting Angkor Wat has always been at the top of my bucket list, in particular an Angkor Wat sunrise! I just hadn’t thought that it would be a suitable place for little kids. My kids are a little older now at 11, 9 and 7 so we decided that now would be a good time. Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples are located close to Siem Reap in Cambodia.  (more…)

Night Safari – Travelling with Kids – Family Travel Blog

The Night Safari opened in Singapore in 1994 and was the first zoo to showcase nocturnal animals and is one of the most popular things to do in Singapore at night. The park is divided into seven geological regions that you can explore via four walking trails. If you are travelling with kids or those not up to walking the tracks there is also a tram ride that drives around all the exhibits and provides a live commentary as you go. (more…)

River Safari – Travelling with Kids – Family Travel Blog

The River Safari Singapore officially opened in February 2014 and is just a minute walk from the entrance of the Singapore Zoo. The park is a fresh water river themed wildlife park, with dedicated zones that highlight famous waterways from around the world. Gardens by the Bay, Singapore – Travelling with Kids – Family Travel Blog

Gardens by the Bay is a must see on any visit to Singapore and was one of the attractions that made it onto our short list of things to do during our recent visit. It’s been 13 years since Craig and I first visited Singapore, there was no Marina Bay back then and Sentosa Island was nothing like it is now. On our recent trip to Singapore we were spoilt for choice for things to do with the kids. We were only there for a few days so we to narrow it down and wouldn’t be able to do everything. Getting to Legoland, Malaysia from Singapore – Travelling with Kids – Family Travel Blog

On our recent trip to Singapore we decided to visit Legoland Malaysia just across the border in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. We were staying at the Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre which is located just off Orchard Rd in central Singapore and it took us approximately one hour (give or take) to get there.
