I love Hong Kong, its a big statement and one I tend to bang out regularly as I seem to find great things about every place I go to. I haven’t found a place yet that I haven’t liked. The first time I went to Hong Kong was on a girls trip in 2013 with my mum and my sister. The best thing (and possibly the worst) it started my love affair with all things Shangri La.

When we were on holiday in Hong Kong, we took a day trip to Macau. Its the second time I have been to Macau and I must admit I love it. We had a private driver for the day, the same fella we had last year. If you are looking for a private driver I can highly recommend ours, contact me via email or in the comments below and I will contact you with his details. This trip was a little different as we had the hubbies and the…

In 2014 we took a family holiday to Hong Kong to take our 3 kids aged 5, 7 & 9 to Disneyland. We struggle to find reasonably priced accommodation due to the fact that we need 2 rooms as hotels rarely accommodate 5 in one room. This means that we also have to pay 2 full room rates. This means that a 2 week holiday would cost the same as a 4 week holiday for those with only 2 kids. A friend at work happened to mention how…

In October 2014 we visited Hong Kong with the kids. I had been to Hong Kong the year before but Craig and the kids were visiting for the first time. Below I have listed our top 5 things to do in Hong Kong with kids.

This is the questions many of you will want answered and is the question I was asking myself before I went to Hong Kong. Which would be better suited for my kids, their age group, their heights. Here’s my opinion after visiting both in 2014 with our 3 kids aged 9, 7 & 5. I have also written more detailed post on Hong Kong Disneyland which you can read here and on Hong Kong Ocean Park you can read here.

On our recent trip to Hong Kong we took the kids, aged 9, 7 & 5 to Ocean Park on Hong Kong Island. We had been to Disneyland 2 days before, you can read about our visit here. I will write another post outlining my opinion on which is better very soon, so look out for that one!

During our recent  trip to Hong Kong we jumped on a ferry and spent a day taking in the sights of Macau. Macau is often considered to be the Vegas of the East and it certainly doesn’t disappoint.

The main reason for our recent family holiday was to take the kids to Hong Kong Disneyland. We choose this specific Disneyland as it is more focused on the younger age group.

**Warning – nothing in this post is budget!** Last year I was lucky enough to get a leave pass from the family to go to Hong Kong with my mum & my sister. I have always wanted to go to Hong Kong & I am a little disappointed about not getting there before they closed the old airport (even though that was many years ago!). It’s been a long time since I have travelled without the kids so to be able to stay out late, eat at expensive…
