Twilight concerts at Melbourne Zoo

Last month Craig and I and a few friends, went to one of the twilight concerts that are held at the Melbourne Zoo, lovingly known as Zoo twilights! They are held on the lawns near the rotunda closer to the rear entrance. On this occasion we saw Bernard Fanning, there are various others playing over the summer season on selected dates including James Reyne, Sarah Blasko, Paul Kelly, Spiderbait, Village People & The Cat Empire. My Liebster Award – Our3kidsvtheworld

I was very surprised to receive a Liebster Award from Erika at Ever-changing Life of a Mum. I had seen her blog pop up a couple of times recently but with getting ready to return to school this week I haven’t had a lot of time to read other blogs, concentrating on writing and posting my own.  I have since learnt that Erika is a local (Melbourne based) mum with an awesome post about getting rid of head lice! Australian Open 2016 – Opening Night

Last year I decided I needed a new tennis buddy, Craig isn’t really interested unless they’re corporate tickets and most of my friends aren’t that into tennis to spend their money on going. So I made the decision last year to take Alannah for the first time when she was only 9 years old. She loved it and wanted to return this year. Awesome, new tennis buddy for mum! Australian Open Melbourne is one of the worlds best run world sporting events and you can really see why. (more…)
