Cu Chi Tunnels, Vietnam with Kids – Family Travel Blog – Travelling with Kids

On our recent visit to Vietnam, I was a bit worried about the kids not being interested enough. The other Asian cities we have been to, have had big tickets items such as Hong Kong Disneyland, Ocean Park and spending a day volunteering at an elephant shelter. We had nothing like that organised for Vietnam and I wasn’t sure there would be enough to keep them interested. There are so many Cu Chi Tunnels tours to choose from and they are all very similar. Vietnamese Water Puppets – Ho Chi Minh City – Family Travel Blog – Travelling with Kids

During our recent trip to Vietnam, we took the kids to a traditional Vietnamese Water Puppet show. The art of puppetry originated in the rice fields in the north of the country around Hanoi. Puppetry is believed to be passed through the generations from father to son. (more…)

Review – Signature Saigon Hotel, HCMC, Vietnam – Travelling with Kids

Recently we returned from our holiday to Vietnam with the kids. Craig and I went to Vietnam in 2003 for our honeymoon but it was the first trip for the kids. I knew we would be out and about while staying in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) so didn’t see the need to pay for a 5* hotel like we had in Nha Trang at the An Lam Resort.  I think Signature Saigon Hotel is the best place to stay in Ho Chi Minh City and here’s way.
